ESCA implements a self-inspection system according to the HACCP method, itself based on the principles of Codex Alimentarius. This consists of accurate quality controls throughout the entire production chain, from the acceptance of raw materials to the microbiological and chemical analysis of the final product.

This is  backed by a certified quality management system according to the BRC (Grade AA) and IFS (Higher Level) standards for food safety.

ESCA has an automated tracking system to control the entire transport path of each ingredient, in compliance with the requirements of Regulation EC 178/2002.

The analytical tests on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products are carried out by an Accredia notified laboratory in accordance with officially approved procedures.

This marks the best guarantee for our consumers, who have always trusted in the incomparable quality of our products.

In 2022 Esca obtained the Halal certification. It is a certification of quality, supply chain and product and certifies that the "Condipresto Esca" ready sauces - as well as complying with Italian and European regulations on hygiene and safety- meet all the requirements required by Islamic laws.
